The idea behind the project called "The Seven Year Wall"

 Hey everyone,

Thank you for coming by and welcome to my blog.

I have a problem, something I have been struggling with for the past seven years. Since I graduated and picked up my first full time job my backlog of materials from various hobbies has increased tenfold.

On July 1st of 2021 I decided to try a new approach to getting a hold of my ever growing list of books to read, manga to read, shows to watch, games to play and online classes to complete (Udemy). I sat down marked a blank page with the words "The Wall" in its upper right corner and then randomly started listing every items that fit the above. The outcome is a sizeable list of material. I deliberately did not count the entries. Instead I marked a single entry with a marker and went to read / watch / play the first item on my list.

Between July 1st 2021 and today (October 28th 2021) I have scratched 21 items off "The Wall". I also ran into a lull about one and a half months ago when we returned from a vacation. But I decided to stick with the idea.

So what can you expect in this blog?

I would like to post my updates on "The Wall" (no pun intended). I would  share the ideas I use to keep going. And I would write about the struggles.
